By default, the employer contact is the individual listed with the carrier as the main contact.
If this individual is not the best person to receive notifications from Mewa.io and complete requests, or they’re no longer at the employer, you should change the contact. Because Mewa.io only supports a single employer contact, this will remove the current contact.
To change the employer contact, select Change Contact from the list of available menu items for the employer.
Enter the new contact info for the employer and click Submit.
The new contact will be notified immediately of the change. Additionally, the current contact will receive a notification and be given the opportunity to override the request.
Please note that this will not change the employer contact at the carrier level. If you need to change the contact with the carrier, please contact the carrier for instructions.
Additionally, once a contact is changed in Mewa.io, changes at the carrier level will no longer update Mewa.io automatically.
